Updates and such

I just spent about 12 hours doing some minor (I know, 12 hours for minor changes...) updates to some of the webpages I run. Check them out and let me know what you think!

• www.StudentMinistryResources.com - most of the changes were here, adding new resources, updating my profile, and adding some flare with a new icon for the toolbar. Also, I added some small advertising to earn some cash for running this site. If you buy from Simply Youth Ministry, or are interested, visit my site and click on the banner!
• www.WhatIsTheFlood.com - Updated a sweet icon, and just did some minor fixes to make things work better.
• www.LakesideChurch.net - Updated another icon (I learned something new, can you tell!) and updated the student ministry section.

Flood Cafe - Oct 28th

Saturday October 28th we will host No One's Anthem and Monkey Jacket as well as the Flood House Band for a great Concert night. Only $5 and there will be giveaways! Prizes for Halloween Costumes and even a full trip to the Fall Retreat the following Weekend.

Fall Retreat 2006!!!

November 3rd - 5th we will be traveling to Bambi Lake in Roscommon, MI for our annual Fall Retreat. What makes this weekend special is that we get to go all on our own and focus on our own relationships! The major purpose for this is Outreach and hopefully some great Fellowship will occur as well!

The theme for the Weekend comes from Luke 15 where Jesus tells the story of three lost things and how passionatly the owner looks for them. We will see how God will not stop seeking us out for a great relationship! Come and have a great time, but most of all, get connected to the Flood! Click here for more details

Where Have I Been?!?

know, I haven't posted in a while. I have been super busy trying to plan and execute some Fall Events. Between New ministry things and current planning, watching Detroit Tigers and having a 1 year old who still doesn't sleep through the night, and more, I feel like I have been non-stop.

I will post some individual posts about some of the things in the Flood that are in the plannings!
